Preparation Method:
2-(Chloromethyl)allyltrimethoxysilane can be prepared by the following steps:
1. Add acetate ion to 2-chloropropionaldehyde to obtain hydroxyallyl acetate.
2. When hydroxyallyl acetate reacts with trimethoxysilane, 2-(Chloromethyl)allyltrimethoxysilane is formed.
